FREE 1 Day Intro to the Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol for the Law Enforcement Officer Thursday June 6th Limit 2 officers per agency Walther PDPs, Aimpoint ACROS and Safariland holsters and mag pouches Provided Element Training Complex 4418 Cooper Ln Holt, Florida 32564 Training Schedule - Instruction starts at 8:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm. We take an hour for lunch. The War HOGG Intro to Law Enforcement Officer Red Dot Pistol Course is FREE 1 day course designed for all officers. Whether you have never used a red dot pistol or your agency has transitioned to red dot sights. This course will provide you with the knowledge, skill, and abilities to become proficient and effective with a Red Dot Sight. The Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol Course provides the shooter with the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship while using a red dot optic based on proven combat experience/training methods and to build a solid foundation on the following: Performance on Demand Education on Open verse Enclosed Emitter Red Dot Sights Safety Red Dot Zero Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship with a red dot sight Malfuctions Pistol Presentation with a red dot pistol Combat mindset Pistol reloads Drawing the pistol Optic failure Strong and Support hand shooting Realistic Shooting Drills Our Objectives 1. Give the shooter a skill set to be efficient and effective. 2. Empower our students while on the range to think for themselves. 3. Build a proper mindset and solve problems so the “real world” encounter are easier. 4. Equip them a tool via The Firearms Training Notebook to continue training after the course. 5. Encourage the shooter to Be 1% Better Everyday! This will allow you to have important data to take home to continue improving their marksmanship skills building you dry and live fire training What to bring A belt for the provided Holster and mag pouches 400 rounds of 9mm - No Steel cased ammo An old T-shirt that can be shot Ear protection (electronic preferred)/Eye protection Ball cap (recommend) Clothing must be able to perform during strenuous physical activity. We will be training in all weather conditions so pack accordingly.
