The Archon Type B is a compact, striker-fired 9mm pistol engineered for shooters who demand fast follow-up shots, flat recoil, and duty-grade reliability. Built around Archon’s patented AF-Speedlock® locking system and a non-tilting 4.3" barrel, the Type B sits exceptionally low in the hand, reducing muzzle rise and letting you track the sights through the entire recoil cycle. The steel internal frame and textured grip module give the pistol a solid, planted feel, while the short-reset trigger and fiber-optic front sight help you shoot faster, more accurately, and with greater confidence on the range or in defensive scenarios.
Designed as a premium 9×19mm handgun for concealed carry, duty use, and performance shooting, the Archon Type B offers a compact overall length of about 7.7" and a height of roughly 5.2", with an unloaded weight around 29.6 oz for excellent balance and controllability. Magazine capacity ranges from 15+1 to 16+1 or more depending on the magazine used, making it a strong option for modern EDC and tactical applications. With its low bore axis, Glock-style sights, aggressive grip texture, and innovative internal geometry, the Type B delivers the feel of a tuned competition pistol in a rugged, everyday-ready package.
