Reaction timing

Hey guys, so I did a reaction test today. On target, finger on trigger. Fire at beep. To me, most of these numbers absolutely suck. Any thoughts, other than the obvious, I suck 🤣.

This is gonna sound stupid, but can you pre-load the trigger without breaking the shot, so that when you hear that first hint of a beep theres only a milimeter to take up?
