FREE 1 Day Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol for the Law Enforcement Officer Limit 2 officers per agency Walther PDPs, Aimpoint ACROS and Safariland holsters and mag pouches Provided Date - Wednesday October 21st Training Schedule - Instruction starts at 8:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm. We take an hour for lunch. LOCATION - Big Springs Shooting Complex 4945 IA-146 Searsboro, Iowa 50242 The War HOGG Law Enforcement Officer Red Dot Pistol Course is FREE 1 day course designed for all officers. This course will provide you with the knowledge, skill, and abilities to become proficient and effective with a Red Dot Sight. Whether you're transitioning to a red dot optic for the first time, building proficiency on a system you've already been issued, or sharpening a skill set that keeps you safer on every call, this is the course that gets you there in a single day. Drawing officers from across Central Iowa including Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Ames, Oskaloosa, Marshalltown, and beyond, this course fills quickly and is capped to 12 officers. The Red Dot Sight (RDS) Pistol Course provides the shooter with the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship while using a red dot optic based on proven combat experience/training methods and to build a solid foundation on the following: Performance on Demand Education on Open verse Enclosed Emitter Red Dot Sights Safety Red Dot Zero Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship with a red dot sight Malfunctions Pistol Presentation with a red dot pistol Combat mindset Pistol reloads Drawing the red dot pistol Optic failure Strong and Support hand shooting Realistic Shooting Drills More about the course - https://inside.safariland.com/blog/introduction-to-pistol-red-dot-with-war-hogg/ Our Objectives 1. Give the shooter a skill set to be efficient and effective. 2. Empower our students while on the range to think for themselves. 3. Build a proper mindset and solve problems so the “real world” encounter are easier. 4. Equip them a tool via The Firearms Training Notebook to continue training after the course. 5. Encourage the shooter to Be 1% Better Everyday!
