1 Day War HOGG Carbine Training Course - Saturday October 24rd. Instruction starts at 8:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm. We take an hour for lunch. Location - Big Springs Shooting Complex 4945 IA-146 Searsboro, Iowa 50242 $350 Total $150 Deposit - Balance can be paid on day of training Cash or Card COURSE DESCRIPTION: Build Your Carbine Fundamentals on Combat-Proven Ground Owning a carbine and knowing how to run one under pressure are two different things. Whether you're a first-time carbine owner or a seasoned shooter looking to sharpen your fundamentals, this course meets you where you are and pushes you toward real, measurable improvement by the by the time you leave the range. Each student receives a copy of The Firearms Training Notebook. What You'll Walk Away Knowing Safety - Handling protocols that become second nature, not just range rules you forget by Monday Carbine Manipulation - Efficient, repeatable handling under time and stress Zeroing Your Carbine - Get your rifle dialed in correctly, and understand why it matters Fundamentals of Carbine Marksmanship - The building blocks every accurate, confident shooter relies on Point of Aim vs. Point of Impact - Understand exactly what your rifle is doing downrange, and why Combat Mindset - The mental framework that separates shooters who freeze from shooters who perform Carbine Reloads - Fast, efficient reloads that keep you in the fight Alternate Shooting Positions - Learn to shoot effectively from more than just a square range stance What to bring • Carbine (preferably zeroed) Optic or iron sights • 400 RIFLE ROUNDS • 3 or more magazines • Sling that can retain the carbine to the front of the body • Magazine pouch that will retain magazine when moving • Weapons lube and maintenance tools • Ear protection (electronic preferred)/Eye protection • Clothing must be able to perform during strenuous physical activity. We will be training in all weather conditions so pack accordingly. • Sunscreen/Ball cap(recommend) • Shooting Mat (recommended) • Lunch/Water • Old T-shirt that can be shot
